Abdominal binders

Patients are significantly less mobile after surgery and any unnecessary movement is painful, particularly after abdominal surgery. For this reason LIPOELASTIC® abdominal binders feature separated panels that make it easier to be closed post operatively. Patient's feedback states that it takes effort and a lot of strength to close single panel abdominal binders and this can cause additional pain; some patients are not able to fasten single panel binders at all. For this reason, all LIPOELASTIC® abdominal binders are separated, and they are manufactured to make it easy to close.  They can be worn throughout the entire recovery period without causing discomfort or interrupting any activity or daily living. Compression abdominal binders (waist belts) are designed to be used following any abdominal plastic surgery, tummy tuck, hernia surgery or abdomen liposuction. Abdominal binders offer optimal compression, which is necessary for the best results following surgery. The abdominal binders hold your body straight and with correct support and improved posture, thus helping you to achieve optimal results. TIP: Abdominal binders can be worn independently. For greater comfort and to complement the end result, they can be combined with a compression post-operative garment, wearing it on the outside of the secondary garment.
