Should I wear compression garments after liposuction?
Post-operative compression garment is an essential part of post-operative care after liposuction. It promotes healing and reduces the appearance of swelling and bruising. It is desirable that the postoperative underwear covers the entire area from which the fat was suctioned.
What is the recovery time after liposuction?
The recovery time after liposuction is individual, but generally can take 6-8 weeks. This is also the time during which it is recommended to wear post-operative compression underwear, which aids healing after liposuction, helps prevent swelling and bruising and generally speeds up the healing time. What types of liposuctions are we familiar with?
